My 101 in 1001

For Me:
1. Take a weekend get-away vacation by myself
2. Purchase a digital SLR Camera
3. Purchase an iPhone
4. Learn to speak Spanish
5. Try 10 new foods
6. Get a massage
7. Play a trumpet solo in Church
8. Audition for the Church Choir
9. Go to a drive-in movie at least twice (Once back home and Once here in Dillsburg - 5/21/2011)
10. Own every season of Glee or Grey's Anatomy on DVD
11. Get a new hairstyle (maybe highlights with a color I would've never picked)
12. See Mama Mia or Phantom of the Opera on Broadway
13. Re-learn how to play piano. 
14. Purchase a new laptop --- preferably a Macbook
15. Sign up for Netflix (at least a month's few trial)
16. Visit my grammy and grandpa Gregory's resting place on a day other than a holiday. 
17. Treat myself to a pedicure after a long hectic week (6/8/11)
18. Purchase the coffee table that turns into a desk :)

For my Mind:
19. Apply to a Doctoral program 
20. Take a quilting class
21. Download 100 books on my Nook
22. Build a sand castle at the beach Huntington Beach and Newport Beach, California --- 7/14 and 7/15/2011
23. Venture with Andy Smith on a 2nd Photo Walk
24. Tour Philadelphia and Pittsburgh --- 8/4/11
25. Read at least 3 nights a week during summer vacation.
26. Subscribe to a DIY magazine
27. Watch 5 documentaries on the History Channel
28. Try one new recipe a week during the summer
29. Blog at least twice a week
30. Take a jewelery making class


For my Soul:
31. Hike the Appalachian Trail (at least part of it)
32. Journal nightly before praying
33. Take 5 minutes everyone morning to read a devotional
34. Join a women's group at church.
35. Teach vacation bible school (6/20/11-6/25/11)


For my Relationships with Friends and Family:
36. Make dinner with Dan once a week
37. Get "hitched"
38 Visit another state or country with a best friend
39. Send "Thinking of You" snail mail note cards to 10 friends or family members 
40. Go to a Steelers game with Pappy Faux
41. Send Christmas Greetings to friends and family by the third week in December   (12/17/11)
 42. Go hiking and on a picnic with Dan (Ricketts Glen State Park Falls Trail and Benton Dam - 5/29/11)
43. Go to NYC with my momma and my sister for a weekend getaway
44. Host game night for friends
45. Send a small gift to three friends for no reason other than being a good friend
46. Dance in the rain with Dan
47. Treat my daddy to dinner on Father's Day
48. Treat my mommy to dinner on Mother's Day 
49. Reconnect with an old friend (Thanks Facebook! --- 6/10/11) 
50. Have a sister's weekend at least three times a year with the world's best little sister
51. Babysit for a friend or family member so that they can have some time with their partner  (September 2011)


For my Job:
52. Give students the opportunity to volunteer and do service for others
53. Rewrite curriculum to better serve my students
54. Earn my principal certification
55. Promote FCCLA and its purposes
56. Create memories with my students that will last a life time
57. Mentor students on STAR Events projects.
58. Reorganize fundraising efforts for FCCLA
59. Create an advisory board for FCCLA
60. Have a student teacher from Messiah
61. Present a workshop to my peers
62. Create more ActivInspire flipcharts that include Web 2.0s
63. Reorganize the kitchen and classroom to better suit the needs of my students (6/9/11)
64. Call one student's parent each week telling them something good
65. Inspire a student to be a FACS teacher


For Others:
66. Donate to Oxfam.org to fight World Hunger
67. Organize a Community Night that provides a free hot meal to families in the Susquenita Community.
69. Help a stranger unload their grocery cart
70. Take my sister to see Wicked
71. Volunteer at the local food bank
72. Have a yard sale and donate all proceeds to a charity
73. Anonymously pay for a stranger's meal at a restaurant
74. Write 10 "I am thankful for you because" letters to friends

84. Walk/Run at least 2 times a week during the summer
85. Stop drinking soda.

89. Pay off 2 of my 3 student loans
90. Use coupons more often
91. Make 13 car payments a year
92. Go one week without spending any money


For my Home
93. Purchase new living room furniture
94. Purchase a new bed
95. Plant flowers every spring (Spring 2011 --- check!)
96. Vacuum, dust and mop at least once a week  
 

Miscellaneous:
97. Sort through the years of "stuff" I still have stored at my dad's 
98. Donate $5 to charity for each item I do not complete at the end of my 1,001 days
99. Make a handbag from plastic bags
100. Keep an up-to-date planner to manage my time
